Signs and symptoms of dry skin depend on your age, your health, where you live, and your lifestyle. Dry skin is likely to cause one or more of the following symptoms:
- Skin roughness.
- A feeling of skin discomfort, especially after showering, bathing or swimming.
- Slight to severe flaking.
- Fine lines to cracks.
- Deep cracks that may bleed.
