For more than 100 years, NIVEA researchers have been studying the skin to develop skincare products that meet high standards of safety, quality and performance. To stay true to our ambition to care beyond skin, we continuously work to further develop our products, packaging and processes, considering aspects such as responsible sourcing, packaging innovation and formula development.

Our goal is to develop effective skincare products that meet consumers' expectations for skin compatibility, quality and product performance, while also taking environmental aspects into consideration throughout the development process.

Understanding what is in your skincare products is important. However, ingredient lists and topics such as ingredients of natural origin, vegan formulations or product characteristics can sometimes be difficult to navigate.

That is why NIVEA aims to provide clear and transparent information about our products, ingredients and formulations. We make relevant product information available both on-pack and online to help consumers better understand the products they choose.

One example is the NIVEA Ingredients Glossary, which offers simple yet detailed information on the nearly 600 ingredients used in our product formulations.
